Research shows that Confidence is Chemical… the primary chemical of confidence is SEROTONIN. When the Brain releases Serotonin… we “feel” it== And others can feel it from us as well: When we feel confident we manifest it in our posture—standing up straighter…smiling …Because WHEN YOU KNOW IT you SHOW IT, people can sense when we are confident and they reciprocate with their own confidence.

Confidence, curiosity and engagement are tightly linked: When people are curious they are engaged – questions show engagement. Curiosity leads to clarity, clarity leads to confidence and confidence is catchy…

So, The more we A-S-K the more confidence we have… and the more we Access each other’s thinking, the more customized the Solutions we create for them…  and the more confidence they will have in our specialized Knowledge.

We’re wired to respond to how other people feel, the word for that is empathy. It’s about connection, and it goes back to caring. The cornerstone of building confidence and connection is having people open themselves up. Because the more someone knows about US and aligns with US, the more confident we are in the outcomes they are framing. Questions uncover needs and questions confirm that we are heading the right way together…

When we ask questions we show confidence and respect… and it is also true that too much of anything can be too much… that same confidence can turn people off if we are not mindful of their feelings.
